The pressure cooker just shaves off some time and hassle. I pressure cooked the kernels as well so that shaved off another 10 mins during the shallots/cream phase. Thx for the recipe.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17422713.post-68281213726232403132008-09-26T19:38:00.000-04:002008-09-26T19:38:00.000-04:00Hi Anonymous,Did you puree everything, cobs and al...Hi Anonymous,

Did you puree everything, cobs and all? Strained out the jus, immertion blended it, strained it and voila!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17422713.post-48303356992146662272008-09-25T23:36:00.000-04:002008-09-25T23:36:00.000-04:00I always thought I got my strainer clean until the...I always thought I got my strainer clean until the handle broke and I took it to my job to have it welded back together...the room smelled like barbecue because of the heat from the welding contacting whatever was in there that I apparently didn't get cleaned off...Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16258422495964985299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17422713.post-51142770944792601152008-09-25T21:12:00.000-04:002008-09-25T21:12:00.000-04:00Then you get some kids to clean up after the dog. Then you get some kids to clean up after the dog.Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04606454923510883186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17422713.post-53504803809453352372008-09-25T17:47:00.000-04:002008-09-25T17:47:00.000-04:00HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA great comment! Whatever is left after a round in the dishwasher will dry up and generally fall/flake off with a few good WHACKS on the kitchen counter. I grew up in France. "Clean" is relative. So is "moldy."Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11849813171885936972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17422713.post-73911560032292246982008-09-25T17:46:00.000-04:002008-09-25T17:46:00.000-04:00Yeah, but then you'd have to clean up after dogs, ...Yeah, but then you'd have to clean up after dogs, Suzanne. I'll take the strainer any day. I find that if you hold it upside down over the sink and blast at the outside with the sink sprayer, that does a pretty good job. The spray is more forceful than the tap. And whatever's left, the dishwasher seems to knock out pretty nicely.Terry at Blue Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13504693954312787975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17422713.post-19598570331153709562008-09-25T16:27:00.000-04:002008-09-25T16:27:00.000-04:00You guys obviously need some dogs. You guys obviously need some dogs.Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04606454923510883186noreply@blogger.com
