Cherry Pecan Stuffing / Dressing


How to make Cherry Pecan Stuffing / Dressing 

(with make-ahead tips for Thanksgiving)

Serves 6-8

1 Lb loaf of white sandwich bread (such as pain de mie)
4 tbsp butter
1 yellow onion
2 celery ribs
1 Tbsp thyme
1 Tbsp sage
1 garlic clove

2 eggs
1 Tbsp parsley
1/2 cup tart dry cherries
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Hi!I did this. I never prepared stuffing before. It was good! The only thing is I used chicken broth and that overpowered all the other ingrendients including cherries and walnuts. I did not have pecans. Thanks for a great recipe!

Glad this recipe worked for you. If you like it less chickeny, just use half water half stock next time.
